"I don’t buy books so the fact I bought this means a lot. I appreciate Josh and his skills so not taking anything away from that. While the story is interesting, the Audio narration is horrible .....so bland! I would give it a 4 star for the book it self but I’m taking off 2 stars for that reason."

  • I don’t buy books so the fact I bought this means a lot. I appreciate Josh and his skills so not taking anything away from that. While the story is interesting, the Audio narration is horrible .....so bland! I would give it a 4 star for the book it self but I’m taking off 2 stars for that reason.
  • If you are a lover of Real Estate, this book is the one for you. From the first page, Josh invites the reader to delve into his day to day life, operating in one of the toughest Real Estate markets in the world!

    The techniques and tips that Josh explains in detail, will only serve to help the reader become a better closer of deals, no matter whether they are trying to sell or buy Real Estate.

    The stories are thoroughly entertaining, which makes the book hard to put down, and in some ways the reader is able to relate to a few of the adventures Josh has encountered throughout his career.

    The book ultimately teaches the reader, that with the right aptitude and determination to succeed, the world is your oyster. Having 15 years experience in the industry myself, I not only found this book a new source of motivation, but I have a new found determination to push myself even harder than I have before.
  • So disappointed that Josh didn’t have the time to read this book on audible! You want my money but you had a boring, dry person reading it. Really disappointed in you!
  • Altman lays it all out here. They psychology of winning, closing, and persistence! I have read dozens of real estate related books, and none touch on MINDSET, like Altman's book. Taken from real deals that he has closed, I found the tactics immediately applicable; no matter what the size of the deal is. Invest in yourself and career and learn from the best.
  • I have been surprised by how authentic Josh is on his show and his podcast. What you see is truly who he is. The book is no different. He talks about his successes and his failures. I am not in real estate but found his stories were helpful and inspiring in my own business as an entrepreneur. I highly recommend the book!
  • I wanted to like this book, but it’s just him bragging non-stop about how he’s a “shark”. There’s no content to actually take away except maybe a line every 50 pages.
    All he talked about was previous multi million dollar deals and too much repetitiveness.
    Not to mention the ungrammatical sentences and typos.
  • Absolute MUST read. If you want to learn tips from the best, definitely BUY The Altman Close.
